This project was awarded by Weatherford and Exxon Mobile and was located at West Qurna in Basra Province. The scope of work included two separate sites, a lift station and an injection station. The work at each station included all the ground works, soil backfilling, inverted T-walls, fence foundations, pumps, generators, steel structure (K-Span) shades, as well as pipeline works of different sizes and associated welding. The value of this contract was 1,500,000 USD.

This project is one of the most strategic water projects in Basra and serves the whole city. It supplies 3,600 m3/h of water to Basra’s Reverse Osmosis (RO) station and to other areas in Basra. The project included a high-lift and a low-lift station as well as associated facilities such as pumps, compact units, water storage building, switchgear, diesel generators, and transformers. Most of the equipment was sourced from Europe and Turkey.

This project was awarded to AUC by the Baghdad Company for Gas Turbines with a value of 22,000,000 USD. It is considered as one of the highly important projects in Iraq. AUC’s scope of work included constructing all the foundations of the turbines (Frame 9) and tanks. It also included the fabricating and installing of 240,000 m of precast fence. AUC was responsible for all the civil works in this project as to enable Baghdad Company to install the gas turbines.

This project is built on 100,000 m3 area consisting of two buildings. The main one is two stories linked to the witness annex facility. The main building includes 248 rooms and 10 prison cells. The specification of this project is American standard. It was awarded by USACE in 2006 and finished in 2008. The value of the project is 11,000,000 USD. It is considered as one of the biggest projects in Basra and serves all the population of the city.

This was a multi-contract project consisting of the following contracts:

A-MEP and Civil work with a value of 18,000,000 USD which included water, sewerage, fire-fighting and IT networks of 200,000 m2 and concrete works of 40,000 m3

B– Two Workshops and a shared service building totaling more than 25,000 m2 at a value of 7,000,000 USD which included sandwich-panel claddings, overhead cranes and other associated services .

C– Power Generation Supply and Installation with a value of 6 million USD. Scope of services included purchase and installation of nine generators of 2.5MW each, switchgear, transformers, a med i um voltage system controlled by SCADA system and associated building and fuel storage facilities.

D-Logistics and Catering with a value of four million USD to provide accommodations, catering, and other life-support services, for 560 workers, security force, client subcontractors, and client staff .
