The production of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) Thermalite Blocks in Iraq is recently pioneered by Al Dayer United Factory for Construction Materials, using German Technology. Since being awarded a Basrah Investment Certificate, AUC has already started installing the factory, with production planned to start in November, 2012. The technical backup is a highly qualified and well-experienced team of engineers, as well as studies on savings of structural and air-conditioning by using AAC Thermalite Blocks . The factory will produce AAC blocks and panels. This type of material has a high demand due to its high insulation value for buildings. It also minimizes the time of construction and provides environmental and human protection. The factory’s full capacity is anticipated at 2,000 cubic meters per day. It is located on an area of 50,000 square meters in the new Basrah Industrial Zone.
